Ordering & Shipping
What is the delivery time?
Orders placed on business days before 3:00 PM are usually shipped the same day. The expected delivery time within the Netherlands is 1–2 business days.
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs are automatically calculated during checkout. We sometimes offer temporary free shipping above a certain order amount.
Will I receive a track & trace?
Yes. As soon as your order has been shipped, you will automatically receive an email with a track & trace link.
Can I have an order shipped directly to someone else?
Yes. During checkout, you can enter a different delivery address.
Product Information
What are Kiekeboe products made of?
Our children's tableware products are made of high-quality stainless steel (RVS) combined with food-grade silicone material. They lab-tested and safe for daily use.
Why do you choose stainless steel?
Stainless steel is durable, strong, and taste-neutral. It contains no harmful substances such as microplastics and is a safe choice for young children.
From what age are the products suitable?
Our products are suitable from about 6 months, when your child starts with their first bites.
Does the plate stay securely on the table?
Yes. Thanks to the silicone suction cup, the plate remains firmly in place during meals.
Is the tableware suitable for BLW (Baby Led Weaning)?
Yes. Thanks to the sturdy material and the suction cup, the tableware supports learning to eat independently.
First bites (6–12 months)
Is this tableware suitable for babies just starting to eat?
Yes. Our products are specially designed for those first bites and support learning to eat independently in a safe way.
Why do parents choose a divided plate?
A divided plate helps babies discover flavors and textures separately. This makes eating easier to understand and encourages independence.
Safety & Materials
Does the tableware contain harmful substances?
No. Our products are BPA-free and made from food-grade materials.
Is silicone safe for babies?
Yes. We only use LFGB-tested silicone that is suitable for daily use by young children.
Does the tableware get hot when used with hot food?
Stainless steel can conduct temperature. Therefore, always check if the temperature is suitable for your child before serving.
Use & Maintenance
Are the products dishwasher safe?
Yes. Most products can be safely put in the dishwasher. We recommend placing silicone parts in the top rack whenever possible.
Are the products microwave safe?
No. Stainless steel is not suitable for use in the microwave.
Can the tableware withstand being dropped?
Yes. Stainless steel is sturdy and does not break like glass or ceramic. This makes it ideal for small children.
Does the suction cup stick to every table?
The suction cup works best on smooth surfaces such as wood, plastic, glass, and stone.
How do I release the plate from the table?
Use the small tab on the suction cup to easily release the plate.
Does the tableware discolor after use?
No. Stainless steel does not absorb odors or colors and stays looking good for a long time.
